Registration for the 2025 Leipzig Book Fair Is Now Open
At the 2024 Leipzig Book Fair, 283,000 bookworms took part in 2,800 splendid events at over 300 venues. Together with Europe's largest reading festival, "Leipzig liest" (Leipzig reads), and Manga-Comic-Con, the fair enjoyed a fantastic response from visitors and exhibitors alike. With a view to generating the same enthusiasm in 2025, registration for exhibitors has now opened. It is advisable to book as soon as possible. A discount of 10 per cent on the standard price for space rental is available until 31 August.

Leipzig Book Fair Pushed Back to April in 2023
The combination of the Leipzig Book Fair, Manga Comic-Con, Leipzig liest reading festival and the Leipzig Antiquarian Book Fair will take place from 27 to 30 April 2023. "In 2023, the Leipzig Book Fair will take place later than usual in both the exhibition halls and across the entire city of Leipzig", says Martin Buhl-Wagner, Managing Director of Leipziger Messe. "We will finally be able to celebrate the reading of books again with all our partners. The new dates in April offer the safest framework for us to continue our work on developing exciting concepts for this group of events." Registration for Leipzig Book Fair 2023 will be possible from August.

Leipzig Book Fair Hosts Leipzig liest extra
Personal encounters with authors – even with pandemic regulations. Making literature visible – even with the lack of platforms. Global perspectives – even with limited mobility All this will take place from 27 to 30 May. The Leipzig Book Fair will be holding an event called Leipzig liest extra with book readings throughout the city, awards for outstanding books and international gatherings online. Details of the programme will be available at the beginning of May.

Leipzig Book Fair will take place from 27 - 30 May 2021
The Leipzig Book Fair is held together with the reading festival "Leipzig liest", the Manga Comic-Con and the Antiquarian Book Fair next year from 27 to 30 May at the fairgrounds of the Leipziger Messe. The Leipziger Messe has reached this decision in consultation with the Advisory Board of the Leipzig Book Fair.
